At the end of this course, the participants are expected to:

  • Understand more about some of their smartphone camera’s features
  • Be more mindful about how they compose their shots
  • Be more aware of where the light source is or where they place the light source before taking a picture
  • Achieve the effect they want in their photos in terms of depth of field and motion

Prerequisites
Only your enthusiasm. No prior knowledge in photography required.
 
What to bring
Although this is only a webinar and no hands-on shooting and review of photos are excluded, the participants are encouraged to have the following with them so they can immediately try some of the features and techniques presented:

  • Smartphone with camera. Preferably, the participants will be using a different device for their Zoom app so they can use their smartphone to check the features discussed during the webinar.
  • A small flash light or any small light source they can move around (ex. reading lamp, small LED light)
  • Any small object they want to take a picture of (about the size of their palm/hand)
